When cesarean section is shown
Caesarean section is carried out in cases where spontaneous delivery is impossible or dangerous to the life of the mother or fetus. Doctors define the indications for cesarean section during pregnancy or in childbirth.
Cesarean section in a planned manner (before labor) is carried out, for example, a high degree of myopia with changes in the fundus, malformations of the uterus and vagina, malposition (lateral, oblique), placenta previa, there are two or more scars on the uterus after cesarean section, etc.
Cesarean section delivery more often produce weakness in the labor force, which is not amenable to pharmacological correction and, if the monitor observation, there are signs of suffering (hypoxia) of the fetus. There are other indications for cesarean section.
The consent of the patient for an operation is necessary for cesarean section.
